The video recording of NINR's third Director's Lecture of 2023 is now available to view. On July 12, 2023, Dr. Sarah A. Stoddard, Associate Professor of Nursing and Health Behavior & Health Education at the University of Michigan, and Dr. Paul Kuehnert, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Public Health Accreditation Board, presented research priorities and the practice and policy implications of nursing research through the population and community health lens.
On June 29, 2023, Daniel E. Dawes, JD, Senior Vice President of Global Health Equity and the Executive Director of the Institute of Global Health Equity at Meharry Medical College, joined NINR with co-hosts NIMHD and NIH OBSSR to share his expertise as a scholar, educator, and researcher on health equity and social and political determinants of health.
NINR is excited to announce our participation in the 2023‐2024 NIH Climate and Health Scholars Program, which seeks to bring climate and health scientists from outside the U.S. federal government to work with NIH staff and build NIH capacity in the scientific domains outlined in the NIH Climate Change and Health Initiative’s Strategic Framework.
